Gifts Given in Memory or in Honor

Ron Banks

A family gift has been given in honor and memory of Ron Banks. In high school, God used the story of missionary aviation pilot, Nate Saint, to stir Ron’s interest in missionary aviation. He attended LeTourneau University and Moody Aviation where he earned his commercial, flight instructor and instrument licenses. In 1984 he served as pilot, mechanic and program manager with Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Venezuela. Ron would later build flight simulators in other countries to teach others to fly small aircraft. Ron passed in 2017.

W.R. Banks, Jr.

A family gift has been given in memory and in honor of William R. Banks, Jr., on October 20, 2023 on what would have been his 100th birthday.

Bill was a WWII Navy veteran. His family would describe him as devoted to family, patriotic, diligent and hard working. He was a man of integrity and a man of the Bible.

He was also a mission volunteer to Belize, Venezuela, Peru and the Philippines.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Dr. John T. Adams

In honor of a father who loved his children deeply and taught them to love nature and adventure through camping, rock climbing, hiking, and travel-from the top of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. He is a legacy. We-his children-wish to continue that legacy by giving to this ministry that shares his love of God and nature.
